We as a nation should be ashamed that we do not provide affordable health care for everyone, rich and poor alike.
Forty million Americans are uninsured, and another 25 million are underinsured, and many of are insured are denied their claims by the frivolous and diabolical reasons given by the insurance companies.
The system must be changed, and it must be changed now. It is now up to President Obama and Congress to right a wrong that gives this country such a terrible black eye. How can we consider ourselves an enlightened nation, when so many of our citizens end up sick and dying because of the lack of health care.
